Assessment & Training

Family Gateway is dedicated to providing families with services designed to restore dignity, stability, and self-sufficiency to the family unit, thus breaking the cycle of generational homelessness.

Family Gateway’s staff concentrates on assessing the needs of each individual family and creating a goal-oriented plan with the family to meet those needs.  Eligible families who enter Family Gateway’s programs receive assessment and training in the following areas:

1. Individual and family counseling

2. Life-skills training

3. Pre-employment skills

4. Job search and placement assistance
