We are currently hiring for the following positions: Part-Time Accounting & Personnel Clerk We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting & Personnel Clerk to assist in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, filing invoices, accruals and financial statement preparation. This is a permanent part-time position (20-25 hours per week) reporting directly to the Controller. Responsibilities: · Conduct all duties associated with bi-weekly accounts payable including interacting with staff and vendors, processing invoices, coding expenses and entering data · Conduct all duties associated with accounts receivable including preparing and submitting reimbursement requests to city, state and federal agencies, performing bank deposits and tracking and following up on all accounts receivables · Conduct all duties associated with bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll, including timesheet calculations and inputting and submitting data to third-party payroll service · Assist with monthly bank and credit card reconciliations · Assist with forecasting revenue and expenses · Assist with budget development, preparation and monitoring · Assist with annual audit preparation · Assist with any government auditing or monitoring that may occur · Assist with grant and contract compliance reporting as needed · Assist with benefits and human resources administration as needed · Perform special projects and duties as assigned Requirements: · Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related area of study · 3+ years’ experience in non-profit Accounting and Human Resources · Strong knowledge of standard accounting practices · Strong, advanced knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel and Word are required · Keen attention to detail and a commitment to high quality work · Excellent organizational and follow-through skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under deadlines · Effective communication skills · Ability to interact effectively with a variety of people and work in a team environment Benefits: We value our employees’ time and efforts.
